HP Nears Completion of Autonomy Deal
British software company Autonomy had a hectic week, as the unstructured database specialist moved nearer to being owned by Hewlett-Packard, found itself in a war of words with Oracle, and updated its product line. HP's $10.3 billion takeover offer for Autonomy is now clear of U.S. and European regulators, but other hurdles remain.
