I'm an Election Officer with a law degree who has been following his story closely and I expect to be able to understand and administer whatever the Court ultimately rules as the procedure for voter ID. But I'm not so hopeful about the many other volunteer pollworkers who will get about an hour (if that much) of training before reporting for duty. Why does Simpson feel a need to "save face" for a Commonwealth which has deliberately imposed requirements which its knows will disenfranchise many voters?
