Nonwithstanding your other points, I think that Corbett and PA are in the right here. A private institution like the NCAA has no right to levy a fine on a taxpayer-funded public institution, no cause of action.

So our governor is incapable of accepting vast sums of free federal money to care for Pennsylvania's poorest citizens under Medicaid expansion, has no will to tax gas drillers, is too angry or confused to help the Commonwealth's uninsured by setting up a heralth care excahnge -- but possesses the razor sharp wit and necessary drive to sue the NCAA for taking a strong stand against child abuse. Way to go!
