Appellant Craig A. Grimes appealed the lower court's decision ruling he waived his rights to appeal sentence. The appeals court affirmed.

The appellate court found that, pursuant to a signed waiver, Grimes knowingly and voluntarily waived his right to appeal his sentence. Further, the valid appellate waiver was unaffected by his waiver to collaterally attack his sentence nor did the waiver work a miscarriage of justice. Therefore, the lower court order was affirmed ruling Grimes waived his right to appeal his sentence.
