In this nationwide class action involving individuals who enrolled in debt cancellation and suspension products offered by defendants, HSBC entities, the court granted final certification of the class and held that the settlement was fair, adequate and reasonable, awarded plaintiffs' counsel $7,050,000 in attorney fees and $100,958.16 in costs and awarded class representatives service awards of $3,500 each.
