"That was a great combination for both firms," he said. "This was an opportunity to join a very well-established firm, particularly in the Northeastern U.S. with an existing oil and gas practice."

Jami Wintz McKeon, who was recently elected to take over as chairwoman of Morgan Lewis next year and currently leads the firm's litigation practice, said in a press release that Komoroski's practice is "a natural fit for our firm's platform."

"He adds depth to our already robust environmental litigation services and a strategic complement to other practices globally, including our practices focusing on transactions, regulatory issues, and private equity in the energy industry," McKeon said.

A spokesperson for Norton Rose Fulbright did not respond to a request for comment Monday afternoon.
